Elite's Preshow Synopsis of Events. (as they stand so far...)
It's starting and we can tell because the ads become more frequent, the feeds start with their new FOTH screensavers and twist(s) are revealed on Letterman.
The anticipation is high, as the newest season of CBS's angrystep-child, BigBrother 8, starts gearing up for another summer of debachery and doom.
But the weeks leading up to it, were fun speculation.
For instance, the Faux-Cast Leak and subsequent Faux-Cast Leak is Fake. Where the actual cast members were not spoiled before the show.

During the earlier days we also had the ever-prevalent rumor of the Worst Enemies Twist. Which actually turned out to be true.

Then came the first glimpses of the new LiveFeeds screensaver. Popping up everywhere.


Cool sort of flowing water thingy? I can't really tell.
But better then flames, as the buzz seems to agree.

Then came shots of the house.
All Alice in wonderlandy in it's decor, with little doors and looking glasses, topiarys and teacups, underage girl and her drugged out worm of a father.
Ooops. I actually got a little ahead of myself.

Did I just spoil the cast?
Nope. Not really. Variety and eventually CBS beat me to it.
Plus, hidden within those articles we also got confirmation on our new twists.

The first of which, this year we get our very own player! *high fives the air* *doesn't know why*
With the official moniker being "America's Player", one of the new Houseguests will be lured into doing our bidding, for extra sums of cash.
Which is probably good, since we, as Americans, can be particularly imaginative and cruel.

We also got confirmation on the WorstEnemies Twist and already new speculation is popping up everywhere.
Our first "confirmation" of The WorstEnemiesTwist... which I will refer to as WET. Yeah, WET.

Our first WET pair is Daughter Danielle and her Father Dick. Seems they're estranged and on non-speaking basis.

This could be nothing but Teen Rebellion, but it could also be DBDS. (Dead Beat Dad Syndrome)
(Additional speculation has been added regarding a third person in the house that may have a connection with either Daniele or Dick or both. Keeping our eyes and ears open.)

Our second WET "confirmation" comes in the form of "Bring It On!"

Where two girls seem to be connected through Cheerleading. And if I know my Cheerleaders, they'll be frienemies in no time flat.
(Even more information has been gathered suggesting that Jameka may indeed also be part of this WET. How? I dunno just yet. But CBS has a way of being sneaky about these things.)

Still waiting on our third "confirmation" as of this moment, but I've been noticing some coincidences between Joe and Dustin.
Both from Chicago. Both gay. Real JerrySpringer potential.
